Is having a whitish discharge normal during the first and second trimester of pregnancy? I am about 17 weeks pregnant and have had a white discharge that is pretty heavy. It doesnt itch or anything, is this normal for pregnancy? Or does that sound like a yeast infection? Pregnancy - 7 Answers - 2008-04-28 15:25:45 Best Answer Yes it is normal, and it will only get heavier!! If it ever turns a yellowish green or has a foul odor, call your OBGYN. Best wishes! All Answers Answer 1 Nope, it's very normal. If it starts smelling bad, you have itching or burning or it hurts to pee, or if the discharge is really yellow or green, then you should be worried. Otherwise it's totally normal! I hear it can get even heavier in the last trimester, a lot of women wear pantiliners all the time... 2008-04-28 15:29:30 Answer 2 Yes, I believe white is very normal! And I also heard it gets worse the farther you get along. I however, just asked a question about this, only mine is dark brown:( And was told I need to make an appointment with my OBGYN...SOOOO...as long as its white, you should be fine! :) 2008-04-28 15:30:22 Answer 3 If it is white and is not itchy then I would say it is completely normal.
